My name is Lorena Martinez and this is our home. I’ve worked with children since 1998 and at different centers and environments. The most recent was at a center in Prosser and I was there for nearly 10 years. I began my employment there as a substitute teacher after my husband, Antonio, began his employment with the Prosser Police Department as a police officer. Before that I worked for the Inspire Development Center. I was also an assistant preschool teacher and then became the lead teacher after that. My husband has been law enforcement since 2008 and has since lateraled to a local Tri-Cities department. We have since moved back to the Tri-Cities. We have four children, two boys, and two girls. We also have a pet dog, Pepper, who has been with us for about five years and is about nine years old. We are glad you are considering us for your childcare needs. We look forward to teaching the children many, fun, new and exciting things. We are here to provide quality childcare to the children and families of the Tri-Cities and its surrounding communities. Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns at 509-380-3930 or countrykids99336@gmail.com.

I have a college degree in Early Child Education.

My Philosophy
In our in-home center we strive to provide quality childcare and an environment filled with learning experiences for our children and families. We offer a setting where children can learn, grow; develop physically, socially, and mentally at their own pace. Children will play, learn, explore, express, and develop long life relationships. We offer developmentally appropriate activities for each individual child that is not only hands-on but educational as well.
MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to provide a safe, stimulating, and developmentally age
appropriate learning environment for each child in conjunction with a quality educational curriculum that assists the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth of all children in our care.
